by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality at the end of 2019. This sets out the ambition that the Netherlands will limit the import of soy as much as possible in the coming decade and supplement it with protein-rich alternatives.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0d9c209 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0d9c209\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This requires leguminous plants such as the faba bean, which improve Dutch soil quality and biodiversity as a rotational crop. Unfortunately, in the Netherlands we only have a limited cultivation of faba beans compared to neighboring countries.
