PLINT malnutrition due to protein deficiency
February 11, 2021A new program PLINT Malnutrition has started a Preventive Learning and Innovation Network Against Malnutrition that is financed by the SIA. Fabafull participates in the consortium of vocational training courses, healthcare institutions, food companies and network organizations that have the joint ambition to make a difference in the homes of the elderly by better equipping healthcare professionals and informal caregivers with knowledge and skills to prevent malnutrition. As many as 35% of elderly people receiving home care are malnourished, mainly due to insufficient protein intake.
